Class of 2023

Claire Reid

Claire (she/her) is a Gov Law & Environmental Studies double major with an econ minor. She is one of the three Landis fellows on the Summer crew whose favorite task is trellising tomatoes! Clair came to Lafayette already experienced with farming and wanted to be able to learn about everything in her courses while also learning with hands-on work at the farm. She says the farm has allowed her to receive many opportunities throughout Lafayette and the Easton community.

Charlotte Vierling

A double major in Econ & Environmental Studies, Charlotte (she/her) is another of our fabulous fellows for the summer! She loves working in the high tunnel and can't get enough of harvesting kale. Charlotte farms to better connect with the community, land, and herself. LaFarm, she says, has opened up so many amazing experiences and new friendships!

Tingyu Zhou

Tingyu (he/him) is one of our phenomenal part-time crew members for Summer 2022. He is majoring in mechanical engineering and, while this might be one of his first farming experiences, he loves picking strawberries like a pro! He chose to be a part of LaFarm in hopes of experiencing something new and expanding his knowledge of farming and plants. A fun fact about Tingyu is that he likes KFC's original chicken recipe!
