The Lafayette College Community Garden & Working Farm was spearheaded in 2009 by Jenn Bell, first as a Lafayette College student and then as the Metzgar Environmental Projects Coordinator.  A formidable gardener with a vast vision for the entire Metzgar garden site and the Lafayette College Food Loop mission, Jenn worked with faculty, students, departments and dining services to get the garden on its feet.   With initial funding from the Clinton Foundation and on campus partnerships with various Lafayette Student Groups, particularly SEES, and L.E.A.P the garden continues to grow.  Faculty leadership comes from John Wilson, Geology and Environmental Geosciences, Art Kney and David Brandes, Dept of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Benjamin R. Cohen, Engineering Studies, Andy Smith, Film and Media StudiesSteve Mylon, Chemistry, Rachel Brummel in Environmental Science and Environmental Studies, and the Lafayette Sustainability Committee.
